A flower shop is pictured on the map that comes with the houses, so will we see this soon too? (4/13/00) Liz Smith Asks For Your Input on June QVC Show! - Liz Smith just posted this on the FoB Bulletin Board on Boyds Official Website. Please go there and add your thoughts. "hi everyone! we're trying to schedule the june shows on qvc and we need your help. there will be a terrific (if we do say so ourselves...) tsv (can't discuss now, but watch the newz here for info). we will be doing 5 hours all together. gary will be doing two of those hours on a weekday evening. (yep...i'm doing the rest, so please please be kind...) so here's the question:
should all five hours be in one day?? (midnight to 1:00 am kickoff, liz for two hours in the morning, and gary for two hours in the evening) or... should we spread it out? (on different days in the same week? or over two or three weeks?) qvc would like 5 hours in one day. what do you think???

(4/13/00) Boyds Retirement Rumor? - Melody just posted this on our bulletin board: "I just heard that the new cookie jar "Emma and Bailey...Tea Time" is retired and that 2 of the villages are sudden death. Baileys cottage and the library". (4/13/00) Sparx News Official Today! ! - Arrived! To our surprise a LIMITED EDITION!! (even better than we thought. When Nadia first was offered we expected a piece in editions, and it's now a Limited Edition for Canada!! OFFICIAL COUNT 4824 only Sparx Website (4/13/00) Boyds in the News ! - Boyds is featured in the latest edition (June 2000) of "Figurines & Collectibles" magazine. Pages 62-63 is a nice article with pictures of the Boyds Houses titled "A New Town for Teddies". There is also an article on collectible cats on pages 30-34 and Mama Purrsmore, Opie Biathook and Chester Birdbreath are pictured. (4/12/00) Boyds Wins "Dody Award"! - Those of you who want to have Molly and Cricket please hurry... Click here to see her (4/2/00) Boyds "STAR Autographed" Plush to be auctioned on May 20th! - This was on the official Boyds website, under the FOB section: Boyds has donated 50 bears and other critters from our Spring 2000 line to Ribbons of Hope, an organization (based in northeast Pennsylvania) that raises money for some beary worthy causes like The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (Breast Cancer). Ribbons of Hope sent all 50 Boyds Bear and Friends to TV and movie stars for their autographs (this organization is prrr-itt-ee well-connected, dontcha think?). And, YOU could add one of these star-crossed bears to yer impressive collections! These autographed critters will be auctioned off to the public on May 20th at the Arnot Mall in Horseheads, New York (that's near Elmira…about 2 hours northwest of the Big Apple). Each bear will be enclosed in a wood-based glass case for proud displayin' amongst all yer Boyds stuff and each bear also comes with a signed certificate of authenticity from each celeb's publicist (yep, it's the real deal folks).
