(4/28/01) Boyds buys another company ! - The Boyds Collection, Ltd. today (4/27/01) announced that it has completed the acquisition of J&T Imaginations, a designer of high quality Christmas gifts and holiday collectibles. The acquisition will expand and diversify Boyds' presence in the Christmas giftware marketplace. For details click here

Ya ask fer it and ya got it a Bearstone Nativity with a lit stable, Mary, Joseph, The Child and Urns, and then we offer The Donkey, The Three Kings, and The Shepard
... and "Sister hold each other up"....in life or on rollerskates as in the new bearstone lineup and "Bronson Steadfast is Hangin tough" he is trying to stay on the bull, now this is hard being we put the buckin bull on a spring and he moves, he's dropped his hat already....then Margaret went shopping with her daughter Kristen and dress after dress and welp "there goes the budget" Kristen is feelin sooo pretty as she looks in the mirror admirin' herself and Mom is sitting to the side with her hand holding up her head tryin to figure how she will explain this purchase...you also asked fer sports,so we have a cheerleader, a football player in a offense pose, and Blade Hattrick is so proud after he scored in his game of Hockey. and the Einstein Q. Scaredybear was relaxing in his wagon with all the fall leaves and pumpkins so cute... and Boris Bearloff with Drac..."That's a wrap" is wrapped from ears to paw in bandage and Drac the bat is watching....Please go to next post... And family matters as we have shown with our new frames..be sure ta check on them... and the pins fer all occassions are Jolly ol' St.Nick, Vera Stitchkeeper, Bellfy Batsswape, Constance Twilight, Kimberly the cheerlead sportin "go Bears" and Colette shopping spree...sumtpin new Shadowboxes and the scene are so real and so Boyds... "Sweetie Pies Cookin Kitchen", "Ms Appleby Teaching Center", "Henry and Sarah's Holiday Moments", and a new Train series that are sold seperate,but will connect together,great fer a smaller Christmas tree. These pieces are editions, and of course we have wee folkstone faeries, Sienna Faerieleaf, touch of fall and be sure ta check out the utter 2... the purrstone we have Mr Fuzzywis and sparky where sparky is being chased up a light post,...or Chef Stickypasws who is making a gingerbread house as quickly as Gingersnap the mouse is eating it.... And all that know and luv her we have have Dale and Ilona ...Under the Mooseltoe... moose smooches...and Dale and Ilona are also done in an ornament size...we have several moose this time...Mattie Frostbun...tripleklutz, Murdock Mufflemoose... second thought...Bunny trail??? and shoe box bears are a cow suit, pig suit, turkey suit,...many new ornaments from sports to Christmas includin a racecar...yep, my Zac and brother Gary will have that one...We will be finishing out Boyds Town this season so be sure to pick up Trumbles Mansion, Pub `N Grub, Wilson's Books, Mr. Pennypincher's Collectibles Shoppe, Wee Bear Daycare Center, The Boyds Town Police station, The Boyds Town Catheral (the Limited edition pc) and dun't fergit all the accessories too..We are also addin' ta our Kringle Village this Fall The Scrath-n- Patch, Hoofer Hall..Reindeer Dormitory, Elves-B-Us Workshop, all of these are designs of gumdrops and candycanes and candy...no ya cant eat `em, cuz they're made of resin silly...yep we are makin' accessories available too, these are sooo cute....Dolls... we have a new size this season the 14" dolls, We have Jill with Tumbles and Tina with Tutu and in the 16" we have Jocelyn with Glitzy, Samatha with Snipper, Elizabeth and Lockslea with curry, Joy with Smooch..Mistletoe Kisses, the 12" dolls are Carrie with allas, Danielle with Chilly, Miss Molly with PenPal,Holly with Holiday,Cand with Patience, and the paw Dealer exclusive is Cinnamon with spice and that is a sum up of the resin...now I will work on a sum up of the plush...give me some time... I dint mean ta miss the Angels....They are exquisite!!!!!!! They are called our charming Angels...cuz each angel will come with a charm attachment to the hangtag... this is a great excuse ta buy yerself a new charm braclet. Each piece is numbered by not editioned. The limited edition pc is Guinevere and Felicity...Guardians of friends and Guinevere is helpin' ta fix Fecicity halo...the wings are almost see thru and the coloring is angelic...then we have Aurora in a rich blue and purple and she is the guardian of dreams awwwww .... we have Floramello, guardian of Nature...she is springin from nature with her wild animals at her feet and the grass about a third of the way up her robe...use yer imagination and ya can see her flowing upward from the ground..... and Viviana is the Guardian of Love.... walkin with grace and an angelic flow of her robe and the bouquet of flowers in her hand have such details along with the halo of flowers around her head. I personally will collect this group....we also have the wunnerful angel ornaments with a smaller version of each angel with beeeutiful twisted iridescence clear glass on the bottom oooooo ... awwwwww.... puhleeze check these out... We have Flakey Bearifrost, is he a bear or snowman??comes with a black hat with a blue/white plaid and a scarf ta match the trim...the we have Haley Angelfrost an angel poch with blue/white wings and a halo ta match...a great christmas tree bear wanna be, Frazier, and a star Stella, and Then Jeffrey T. Treetoes come with a great bow and a charlie brown tree on embroidered on his foot...and close yer eyes imagine Santa claus gone bear, now open yer eyes cuz we have Claus Kringlebeary, and J.W. VanWinkles & Snuggles already dressed in red wool hat and PJ and ready for bed...the following are goin ta the halloween party Jack O. Lantern, Conner D. Devilbear, Candy B. Corn, Pepper B. Scaredycat, Zelda Z. Witchypuss,....and we have Kitties, Scratches P. Whiskerpuss, Purrcilla P. Pussytoes all white, Oscar Alleyruckus done in a new fur for us. and a doggie Duncan Doodledog... and we also have the Apple group done in a brillant red and white plaid and apples everywhere...such as on Cora B. Applesmith collar(what a cute bear) and Jonathan Applesmith is holding a stuffed apple, and Smith Applewish wishes he was an apple, We have Cindyrella in a baby blue satin gown with a little mouse dressed in a chauffeur's jacket hidin' in edge of her gown...we have a nurse , a school boy, a fireman....I hope this will wet yer whisle and give the tree some magic grow stuff,cuz yep this line is even better we have new stocking ornments that ya can hang and still get alittle sumptin special in there... we have a Football bear with his football and a soccer bear with his ball and the coach yep he's the number #1 coach., and golfin bears, and we have the wishkabibbles, the father Jacob, the Grandmother, Grannie Annie, And Babby Mae, and awwwww we have Best friends bears sewn together,ya can cut `em apart if ya wanna share with yer best friend and we have our new University bears jest licensed Pennstate,Tennesee, Michigan....and Mohair...a new color Scarlet Bearington, and Juno Whatts Bearington is a snowbear and Keifer B. Elfington is a bear? elf?...we will have 30" Hooper Q. Hugster...he will give ya a great hug...and we have new shades in fur, be sure ta look fer Lead B. Bottoms, Michaels Davidbearskey, Sabie B. Bearsdales and as promised we have 40" Dickens, he come with his Santa hat(removeable) and his sign,...and new for us us JJ Rugsley who is a flat body pillow and great for kids if ya dare or him on yer bead, we will have Taj Tigertail a Tiger, Wally Fishbreath the Walrus, George the Guinew pig and Bucky Beaverdam the Beaver.... welp, lets start with Bailey all dressed in her purple velvet and trim in white fur, And Emily decided ta dress in her purple velvet and trimed in white fur, even a white fur hat....Now Edmund and Matthew and dress ta match with Edmund in a purple Brocade vest and matthew in wool plaid pants with a sweater ( be sure ta check fer the embroidered on each piece except Bailey)... and Then the most beeutiful Victoria L. Plumbeary in her new color...purple, she is part of our Sugar Plum Group..each piece will have a snowflake on the piece to identify this group. ooooweeeee the Uncle Bean's hugglefluffs we now have Mazey moose, Gussie giraffe, Tillie the elephant, and then we have the Hugglebubbles, yep we have hand puppets wash clothes, but when ya use `em ya put them on backwards, that way ya dunt knock the lit'l one out with the heads... and under TJ Best Dress we have Redford T. Woodsbear and he has red wool coat and green flannel pants w/ an owl on his shoulder and a moose sewn in his pocket...and Sierra Woodsbeary come with her Green flannel coat with fur and a red plaid flannel dress and bow and buttoms... yer gonna fall in lov with Marwood 36" and he is a moose with green cords on and a sand color shirt with a red vest trimmed in fur and now he is floppy and he has big shoes on, yep they tie....we have Sonja Frostbeary who is white chenille dressed in a navy skirt with a navy cape that ties together and with pom poms in the end of the tie and she even has ear muffs..I think she is off to ice skate....

(4/26/01) Boyds Carlton Cards Exclusive ! - CARLTON CARDS Collectible GALA MAY 5 -6, Spring 2001 Event The manager had a flyer that she gave me, with a $10 off coupon valid with a $50 purchase those days, plus you get a FREE 6" Boyds plush. And their new Sping Exclusive is in. I picked out $50.00 in Boyds's and she put them on hold for me til May 6.
(4/26/01) Boyds Dolls ! - This was posted on the Boyds website: In the doll line...we hava a new size coming out....14" Jill w/ Tumbles is one of first in this line and she is dressed in a red plaid skirt and a red sweater with a white lace collar, and white cotton collars and a red hat oooooowwwww ahhhhhhh ,,, and Here's a secret fer us doll collectors......ready..... in Oct. 2001 on Qvc dolls show we will have Jack a boy doll and he is posed as if he is falling down the hill and in Jack and Jill.....Now how's that fer a sneak peak of spring 2002???? (4/23/01) Boyds Retires Vanessa R. Angel ! - If you have put off purchasing Vanessa R. Angel either for yourself or a friend DO IT NOW! Vanesssa has been RETIRED. Boyds has now raised almost $500,000 for the Starlight Foundation with the sale of Charity Angelhugs and Vanessa R. Angel.

(4/11/01) Boyds Welcome Home Exclusive! - Spring 2001 Exclusive ... her name is Molly Maybeary, and she is only $14.99. Molly is 9", and has a sleeveless dress on made out of the same material that matches the Bloomengrows. There is trim near the bottom, and a collar made out of the same off white material as the trim. She also has little "pants" or bloomers on. The part that makes her so pretty is she has the most adorable headband (same material as her dress), tied in a bow, with peach and green (again matches the dress) flowers and leaves on it. Jack Nicholson is filming a movie in Omaha called 'About Schmidt'. Cathy Bates is in this movie and in the movie - guess what?? SHE COLLECTS BOYDS, is that awesome or what! They have just about wiped out one of our local stores. They had to buy 3 of everything because there are 3 locations they are filming at and they all have to look the same. I wonder how that came about and what a wonderful advertisement for Boyds. I am anxious to see the movie now - just because of the Boyds.

(4/1/01) Graffitie Pin Problem! - It seems that the Graffitie Pins may have problems! Here are some collectors comments: they are to heavy for their clasps; the nose blinks, but to turn him on & off was a problem; Graffitie turned on easily, but the clasp fell off. Others reported that they couldn't get his nose to stop blinking!
