(12/26/99) Another Boyds QVC Show on Dec 28 !! - Don't miss the End-of-the-Edition, End-of-an-Era Extravaganza! On Tuesday, December 28, 1999 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. (EST) - the V.P. of Stuff, Liz Smith, will present a whole slew of wunnerful Boyds Characters who are headin' for a well-deserved Retirement. This will be the LAST CHANCE to order these items through QVC ... there won't be any left at Boyds. There may be a few left at your favorite Boyds Shop ... but then again, maybe not!

(12/26/99) Lord and Taylor Sale !! - Beth (from South Florida) posted this on our Bulletin Board:

I got a flier from Lord & Taylor's. It says the store is having an after-Christmas sale on Sunday (12/26/99). The store here opens a 7 a.m. (Don't know if it is the same in your area). On my flier, it says 50 percent off Christmas cards, wrap and trim. Underneath is a list of items including Boyds Bears (they spelled it Boyd's). Not sure if that's just ornaments, or plush too. I hope to get up early and find out.

(12/23/99) Urgent News from Dillards !! - Many Thanks to Dan (in STL 314-725-8363 ext 281) for sending this news to us:

Here is some urgent news about the fall Dillards exclusives that you might want to pass along. 3 of the 5 new exclusives, Izzy, Zwick and Pepper will be marked down company wide on the day after Christmas. The good news is that they will be 33% off- the bad news is that they will be increasingly hard to find. Anybody wanting quantities of those three exclusives please contact me ASAP if you definitely want them. By new year's I probably won't be able to help you on them. (The other Christmas boyds styles will also be going 33% off on Sunday) Christian and Kelsey will not be marked down and should remain available well into next year.

I have names for the new Spring exclusives, but not much else. There will be three bears- Meg, Ryan and Regan and one Lamb - Olivia. More details to follow - delivery probably in May.
