Fallston is a 6 golden color bear, wearing a coral color sweater & brown velvet pants. Comes with a wooden wagon and 2 plush pumpkins. The side of the wagon reads Boyds Farm. (7/29/99) QVC Numbers?? - Someone posted on our Bulletin Board that they had talked with QVC and were told that QVC will not be giving out any info until Aug. 7. (7/29/99) May Co. Boyds Exclusives! - The May Co. will have exclusives for Christmas. There will be three bears, the Berrimore's (Henry, Beatrice, and Sadie) Daddie, Mommie and baby. They will be cream colored bears and will all be dressed in the leopard prints that go so well with Bailey and friends.

Bear in the UK, has just posted two eBay auctions to benefit PACFI's Million Dollar Bear campaign. Auction Click here: Auction Link for a plush Mackintosh bear produced by Growlies of Scoland. This striking white German mohair bear, donated by Teddy Bear Times writer Kathy Martin, wears a hand-colored silk scarf and comes with a limited edition postcard depicting the bear, a copy of the catalog in which it was featured, and a copy of the July issue of TBT containing Kathy's feature story on the Burke tour. Rises 66.7% for the Quarter - The Boyds Collection (NYSE:FOB - news) reported 7/22/99 that net sales for the second quarter 1999 rose13.9% to $43.7 million compared to $38.4 million for the same period last year. Pro forma net income, before extraordinary items, for the second quarter 1999 rose 71.3% to $12.5 million compared to $7.3 million for the same period last year. Pro forma net income for 1999 assumes that the initial public offering occurred on January 1, 1999, and pro forma net income for 1998 assumes that the recapitalization and the subsequent initial public offering occurred on January 1, 1998. Pro forma earnings per share, before extraordinary items and assuming dilution, for the second quarter 1999 rose 66.7% to $0.20 compared to $0.12 for the same period last year.
