Information was posted on the FoB board last week that the Plush Boyds Tracker is at Boyds for their approval and then it goes to the printer. It will probably be available in early January 2003.

Posted by LIZ, VP OF STUFF on the FoB Board: "Rachael and Phoebe's Premier Edition was pulled from QVC (they objected to the words on the back of the piece)...so we're sorry to say that the PE edition won't be part of the show line up. Sorry for the confusion. Bearhugs...Liz" Rachael & Phoebe is a bearstone featuring 2 cutie-patootie lady bears sitting at the movie theater eating popcorn. It's titled 'Girl's Night Out'. Here's the Quote: On one chair it reads:"2 chick Flick tickets $20.00, small tub popcorn $9.00"... on the next chair it reads: "Medium diet cola $6.00, Girls night out: Priceless."

(11/6/02) QVC Show Problems
This was posted by Liz on the FoB Board: "Ok....now I'm starting to feel lonesome and the show hasn't even started. We realize that this is not the BIGGEST show we've ever done, but we still plan to have some fun! It sounds like everyone is disappointed before we begin. Jill will be hosting, and she's always fun, so we hope that you will tune in even if your credit cards aren't smokin' like they usually do. There's a live (and lively) audience...so we hope that you'll join in even though it's just for one hour. Bearhugs...Liz" The main reason why the show today was canceled and the show tomorrow was shortened to 1 hour and that many of the featured items we hoped to see aren't included is because they have not arrived from the west coast yet. The longshoreman strike backed up LOTS of stuff coming from China, so now we just have to wait til they can get it all unloaded from the ships. It wasn't Boyds fault or QVC's fault, and I'm sure they will bring us those missing items as soon as they get here. The following items are not in yet and will not be on the show Thursday???

Guess that means we'll be checking QVC alot!!

"we may not be going to Rosemont in 2003. A final decision has not been made at this point although it doesn't look good. The declining number of people who come to Rosemont make it hard to justify the expense, especially with the thousands of people that come to BBC on a weekly basis.
