Spring 2000 Resins !!
- According to Suzieqqqz, releases for Spring 2000 are:
a Congratulations bearstone
a bear dressed like Gary pulling a wagon with little bears
"Taking it easy" bearstone
"One Bear Band" bearstone
"And Baby makes a Family" bearstone (perfect for all of you with new
little ones in the family)
a pair of pandas for Noah's ark
a Bride and Groom dollstone
a cross-stitch porcelain doll
a special SFMB version of the Brittany doll

Boyds & Disney Collaboration !!
- More Boyds/Disney products are coming this Fall & they will be
Disney catalog and Disney store exclusives. They will
not be in Boyds retail stores.
There is a Tigger resin ornament that comes with a plush
Tigger (limited to 10,000 pieces) that will be in
the catalog and stores. There are plush stocking
ornaments that will also be in the stores and the catalog. There is a store exclusive
Also, a Pooh plush ornament that is similar to last year's only
the pillow he is holding has 1999 on it. And the BEST of
all are two mohair Pooh's that will only be in the stores.
They are about 12' high, one is Pooh as Santa and the
other is Classic Pooh, and they will retail for $80-90.
The only problem is that Disney wants them to be limited
to only 600 of each.

New Kirlin Exclusive!!
- Kirlin's will have a new plush exclusive "Megan" (not pictured on their website).
She's a jointed 10" medium
brown chenille bear, wearing a plaid coat w/ dark brown
trim (just like Amanda K. Huntington's, but minus the
silk flower). She's wearing dark brown corduroy pants and
has a plaid bow (matches plaid on coat) on her right ear.

Peace Bear Arrives With Edition Change!!
- The Christmas Peace Bear was supposed to be numbered out
of 15,000 pieces. Well, they showed up in 1E's, 2E's, 3E's, 4E's
and 5E's. Since there are 3,600 1E's, 3,600 2E's, 3,600 3E's, 3,600 4E's
and 600 pieces of 5E's ... this totals to 15,000 pieces. Thank you Joseph at ART HOUSE for this information!

New Boyd's Return Address Labels!!
- Laura K posted this HOT NEWS on our bulletin board recently.
"Just received the latest Colorful Images catalog. On page 49 are
brand new Boyd's return address labels. This set has a Sissy &
Squirt label along with others. Really, really cute!!!! If anyone
is wondering how to get this catalog call 1-800-458-7148 and they
will send you onet. I believe it's alright for me to post this,
since none of the sponsors carry the labels. If not I apologize.

Smuckers Boyd's Exclusive !!
- "Strawbeary" is 12 inches tall and wears a red gingham
dress with a large cream colored collar. Her name is on
the collar with hearts on either side. She also has a
crocheted hat. She has a special tag on the bottom of her
left foot that reads "Smuckers 1999". She comes with six

Boyd's on QVC !!
- There was a Boyds QVC show on Thursday morning hosted by
Dave King hosted and Cheryl Strevig (VP in Charge of More Stuff)
from Boyds. It was leftovers from the last show and
nothing sold out.

Is Boyds Recycling??
- Reports on our bulletin board reveal folks (Laura K. and others) seeing
several of the Leon versions of Karla Mulbeary, a few of
the Leon version of Logan Fremont & a lot of the Morris
version of Logan. One Karla is like Artemus (from Indiana).
Also, Teresa H. wrote:
"I recently purchased Logan Fremont, the new little guy
from the fall 99 collection. Then later in the week I went
into my local Hallmark store and spotted another bear named
Logan. He was dressed in a similar sweater, not quite as
soft, and upon looking under the sweater I found a red
ribbon around his neck, also the bear himself was a
different color, not even close to the same bear, anyway
... then I looked at his bottom tag and it said archive
series 1990-97. I looked for a bear similar to him in the
CVG and found that he is Morris! I had asked the store if all the Logan's they received
looked like the "impostor" and they said yes. In fact,
they had six or eight of them on their shelf. (both bears
were priced the same at each store)I purchased both bears
just to have them to show. I love the "real" Logan the
best, such a handsome little guy!! LOL Any insight you
could offer would be great!"
