He's a 16 mocha bear and will be priced at a GREAT value. There is also a free giveaway for Saturday's event, but she is a surprise! (3/27/08) New 2008 Hunter's Hope Bear  Introducing "Courage"$20.00“Courage” is a personalized Boyds Bear created for the Hunter's Hope Foundation, an organization that seeks to increase public awareness about Newborn Screening, Krabbe disease and other Leukodystrophies and to raise funds for research to find a cure for these devastating childhood diseases. Hunter's Hope was established in 1997 by NFL Hall of Famer, and former Buffalo Bills Quarterback, Jim Kelly and his wife Jill, in honor of their son, Hunter James Kelly, who had Krabbe Leukodystrophy. (2/25/08) Important Boyds Bear Country & Jamboree Update…The Folks at Boyds Bear Country continue to work on the store redesign and plan to open in late Spring. We don’t yet have a firm date, but as soon as we do…we’ll be sure to let ya know.But, (you knew there would be a but in there somewhere) we are going to reschedule this year’s Jamboree. Now, hold on before you start the letter writing and email campaigns. The change in scheduling isn’t something we made without a lot of thought and debate amongst ourselves. The reason for the change is simple. We can’t promise you the quality of event you deserve without more time for planning. We’d rather hold off on the event vs. trying to push forward and have an event that’s not up to yours or our expectations. We do apologize for the change. We haven’t confirmed a new date yet, but we promise to send you the full details and dates as soon as possible. We’ve also decided to cancel this spring’s Sneak Peek. Nope, it’s not because we’re canceling the upcoming Fall and Winter season. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Fact is we’ve been working night and day reworking the Fall/Winter collections based on a lot of feedback from your local retailers as well as some of your fellow collectors. As a result, we feel we have one the best collections we created in years…and we think you’ll agree. As with the Jamboree, we need more time this season to plan the best Sneak Peeks ever for the upcoming seasons. So, again we apologize and ask for your understanding and “bearing” with us this season. You will still be able to see all the entire Fall and Winter collections on BoydsStuff.com by early May. So, make sure you take a look and let your retailers know your favorites.
